Final Fantasy XV Episode Gladiolus: How to Heal & Get More Items

How to Heal and Get More Items in Final Fantasy XV: Episode Gladiolus

Recommended Videos

Final Fantasy XV’s first character DLC, Episode Gladiolus, is now out and it shares quite a bit in common with the main game. Gladio’s gameplay is much more action-oriented, however, so you’ll need to constantly be on your toes. Considering you don’t have a party around to help you out, you’ll also want to make sure you’re keeping Gladio’s health up.

Fortunately, healing in Episode Gladiolus works exactly the same way as it does in Final Fantasy XV. Just hit the R2, or RT on Xbox, button and you’ll bring up the item menu. Here you’ll see Potions and Hi-Potions to restore your health, or a Phoenix Down if Gladio get knocked out. You can get more healing items than what you start with, however there’s a limited amount.

The only way to get more healing items is to pick them up off the ground. You’ll see shining blue dots scattered on the ground, and each one is a healing item. Be careful though, as you do have a limited stock in the DLC, and you might need them for some of the later enemies in Episode Gladiolus.

Now that you know how to heal and get items, for more help, tips, and guides on Final Fantasy XV and Episode Gladiolus, make sure to check back with Twinfinite.
