Happy holidays...again!

Blizzard has announced today that the upcoming 7.1.5 patch for World of Warcraft will be released next Tuesday (Jan. 10).

7.1.5 is quite a substantial update – it will bring Mists of Pandaria content over to the Timewalking feature; this will be pretty useful even to very high-level players because it will bring over new rewards and content with it.

The Brawler’s Guild will also make a return. It’s a single-player experience wherein you battle against the game’s various bosses.

Micro-Holidays are a new feature which Blizzard has talked about. These are in-game events that celebrate different aspects of the Warcraft. “Each one is meant to make the world feel more alive without making players feel like they need to participate for big rewards—while still providing some more variety and fun.”

The first event is The Call of the Scarab, which runs from Jan. 21-23, and celebrates the opening of the Ahn’Qiraj gate in 2006. There will be several events running from now until August.
