Pokemon GO: How Often You Can Use PokeStops

PokeStops are handy-dandy pitstops located throughout the world of Pokemon GO that gift you random items like Pokeballs, Eggs, Revives, and more when you tag them while nearby. They might be a local bus stop, an iconic landmark, or a statue in the park. It’s always a great help finding one and receiving a few free Pokeballs, but just how long must you wait for them to reset so you can take advantage of the freebies once more?

Not that long at all, actually. Just wait around 5 minutes and the PokeStop you activated will turn back to blue and will happily dispense more goodies to your willing inventory.

A good tip is to find an area that has a handful of PokeStops in the vicinity and make a regular circuit. If the route takes you more than 5 minutes to make a round trip, then you can quickly and easily rack up a comfortable stockpile of Pokeballs, and probably max out on eggs (or even hatch a few during your walk) while you’re at it!
