September 2017 Video Game Releases

(Week One: Sept. 4-8)

destiny 2

As 2017 moves into the Autumn season, game releases are starting to ramp up. It’s not that this summer gave us a drought by any means (we saw a ton of games in July and August), it’s just that now there are even more games to play, if you can believe that. September starts things off with a really strong first week that includes a highly anticipated sequel as well as some other games to dive into across the current gen platforms.

Headlining this month is Destiny 2, the follow-up to Bungie’s shared-world shooter that sees players using space magic as they shoot angry aliens in the face. Knack 2 follows where the original PS4 launch title left off with its tight combat and puzzles that revolve around growing big and shedding all your relics to become a tiny little hero. Monster Hunters heads to the 3DS once again, only this time for something a bit different in Monster Hunter Stories. All the upcoming releases have the potential to add something interesting to your library, so you may want to check them out.

Here’s teh week one schedule:

  • Sept. 5 – Knack 2 (PS4)
  • Sept. 5 – Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth (PS4, Vita)
  • Sept. 6 – Destiny 2 (PS4, Xbox One)
  • Sept. 7 – Morphite (PS4)
  • Sept. 8 – Drive Girls (Vita)
  • Sept. 8 – LEGO Worlds (Switch)
  • Sept. 8 – Monster Hunter Stories (3DS)
