Persona 5: How to Get Izanagi and Izanagi Picaro

HOW TO GET IZANAGI AND IZANAGI PICARO IN PERSONA 5

Recommended Videos

Persona 5 is out now and there is a whole host of personas for you to add to your arsenal. Most of them you come across in game, but there are others that can be purchased digitally. Izanagi is a persona that featured in Persona 4 and can be added to Persona 5 using the PlayStation Store.

If you pre-ordered the game then you may have access to the Izanagi and Izanagi Picaro Set for free. If not, it can be downloaded from 4/11 for $2.99.

The set contains two Personas – the original Izanagi design and a special Picaro variant, complete with their unique battle skills. They are level 20 and 23 respectively. Fusion material items are also included in the set.

To summon them, you need to progress far enough into the story to unlock the Velvet Room functions. This will be available after you’ve recruited Ann as a party member and head into the Palace for the first time with a full party of four. Here, you’ll be invited to the Velvet Room, where Igor will teach you the basics of summoning and persona fusion.

After completing the tutorial, talk to Igor to check the compendium to find the two additional Personas. You’ll be able to summon them for 0 yen the first time, but after that, you’ll need to pay the relevant cost to summon them again. Both Izanagi and the Picaro variant come with the same skills: Cross Slash, Zionga, and Rakukaja. They also have the same weaknesses and strengths.
