Alan Wake DLC Now Free on Xbox 360

Remedy has a treat for you.

Alan Wake’s two DLC packs, The Writer and The Signal, are now available to download on the Xbox 360 completely free of charge. This is no doubt to celebrate the full game being made available on the Xbox One via the backwards compatibility feature.

The DLCs take place after the main game and conclude the story. The first DLC was originally free to anyone who bought a new copy of the game.

This free DLC also follows the release of developer Remedy’s new game Quantum Break, which also provided those who bought it with free download codes for Alan Wake and all the DLC.

Fans have been vocal in their support for a sequel to Alan Wake and Remedy has stated that it would “love [the] opportunity to do more” and discussions on a sequel are ongoing.
