So you’re interested in picking up an Xbox One, and that’s great news, but you’re not limited to picking up the Xbox One X. With a price tag of $499, it’s fair to say that the One X comes in at the higher end of the scale when it comes to console gaming cost. While some players will have the money saved and ready to spend come Nov. 7, not everyone has that kind of money to drop on a shiny new system.

On top of that price tag, it’s worth remembering that you’ve also got a couple of additional purchases to make use of said new system. A couple of games to keep you occupied, an Xbox Live Gold membership so you can play online, and maybe a few accessories on top of that can run you an extra couple of hundred dollars.
