Gears of War 4 Multiplayer

Each map in Gears of War 4 has its secrets and tricks to it, and it’s down to you to learn them to really outperform your opponents. Before a game starts, you’ll be shown a layout of the map which details the location of power weapons as well as the locations of the objectives you’ll need to capture/ break. Use this time to really get an idea of how the map looks, and the quickest routes to get to these significant locations. You can always go the normal way or work it out when you’re in the game, but by that point, you’re likely to have been beaten to it by an opponent.

There are also particular locations on the map which can be particularly handy for using long-range weapons or getting a good vantage point over the chaos. It may seem like an incredibly obvious tip, but it’s one that many players will overlook. If you’ve played an online shooter for significant hours before, you’ll know that the maps you perform best on are the ones you know like the back of your hand. Get this down and you’ll instantly find yourself picking apart your enemies and racking up huge scores.
