Batman: Arkham Knight Most Wanted Guide – How to Beat the Perfect Crime

Sometimes the pursuit of beauty is a deadly thing.
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Batman: Arkham Knight is finally available after a long wait. With it, comes a new and improved caped crusader, some new toys, and lots of new side missions. One such mission is titled The Perfect Crime, and it will lead Batman on a trail of mutilated corpses throughout Gotham. It is up to the player to seek out these unfortunate souls in an attempt to stop anyone else from getting hurt. This quest may seem a bit difficult at first (especially since the bodies are sometimes hard to locate), but we’ve taken care of all the confusing parts for you. Now all you need to do is stop that killer.

Batman: Arkham Knight is kind enough to lead you right to the first corpse so that you can trigger this Most Wanted mission and gather the first clues you need in figuring out just what is going on. It’s here that you learn how to locate more bodies, as well. Since the city in Batman: Arkham Knight is quite large, looking for a singular dead body is akin to looking for a needle in a haystack. For The Perfect Crime, you will have to rely on auditory clues in order to pinpoint locations. There is always opera music playing nearby the corpse, so keep an ear out for it as you glide around (it’s much easier to notice when you’re not in the Batmobile). You can also listen for some of the police/criminal conversations where they will remark on a location.

Of course, even when you know what to listen out for finding the bodies can be a difficult task, so here are each of their locations on the map. There are six bodies in total, but since the first one is handed to you on a platter we will show you the remaining five. It should be noted that although you can find each corpse on foot, you for some reason need the Batmobile for the final section of this mission. In order to use it, you will have to complete the City of Fear main story mission:

Body #2 –  Far West on Miagani Island

Body #3 – North Miagani Island

Body #4  Far North Founders Island. This one is right in front of the line of unmanned drones you will come across. You don’t have to deal with them as long as you stay close to the wall.

Body #5 – East Founders Island

Body #6 – Center of Bleake Island

When you arrive at each location, you must do three scans on each victim using your deep tissue scanner (you will be prompted to use it once close since it’s not an actual item for you to select). Each time, you will get more clues concerning the identity of the killer, and after the sixth corpse you will be given a location by Alfred, leading you right to the location of your primary target for this Batman: Arkham Knight side mission. Head over to the Pretty Dolls Parlor and confront some creepy opponents who feel no pain (that should make for a fun fight). Afterwards, you’ll face an enemy that we won’t spoil for you because it was such a pleasant surprise to come across him. Defeating him is easy, though, just wait for him to throw his butcher knives (he’ll throw three) and use the dodge button. On the third one, he’ll be stunned. Walk up to this vile being and use an environmental takedown to finish the fight.

You have now rid the streets of Batman: Arkham Knight of one seriously deranged, and quite dangerous, criminal. You should feel good about yourself, even if you don’t happen to actually be a bat you are one hell of a hero.
