How to Save – Dead Rising 4

Recommended Videos

As much as you might love exploring Willamette in Dead Rising 4 with our good ol’ photographer Frank West, there’s going to come a time where you’ll need to put your controller down and continue the adventure another time.

Unfortunately, Dead Rising 4 doesn’t have a manual save system, so you’ll have to rely on the game to keep a record of your progress for you instead. Luckily for you, the autosave system in Dead Rising 4 is pretty good at keeping track of when you’ve made significant progress and ensuring that you’re not waiting far too long until you can quit out of your game.

If you want to know that your progress has definitely be saved, you can check this by keeping an eye out for a small square-shaped symbol appearing in the top right-hand corner of the screen. This is also often accompanied by ‘Checkpoint Reached’ appearing in the center of the screen. When this has appeared, the game will be saving, so don’t turn your game off immediately. Instead, wait until the symbol has disappeared and then you’ll be safe to quit Dead Rising 4 and carry on from your progress at a later date.

That’s all you have to do to save your game. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
