Valkyria Chronicles 4 (Sept. 25)

Valkyria Chronicles 4 takes the series all the way back to the setting of the original Valkyria Chronicles, but this time focuses on the story of the Federation’s Squad E. Lead by Commander Claude Wallace, he and his friends embark on an adventure through the chilling and depressing backdrop of war. It’ll be down to your own tactics and strategies to ensure that they make it out alive and succeed in their mission.

In order to assist you with your mission, Valkyria Chronicles 4 sees a number of refinements to the battle system, providing players with improved offensive and defensive support options, an entirely new class called the Grenadier, and a Last Stand option to give you one last chance to deal out some damage before a character dies.

Wrap all of that up with the refined tactical gameplay the series is known for, and coat it in its stunning hand-drawn visuals, and you’re left with a turn-based RPG that’s absolutely worth Xbox One owners’ time.
