Best Xbox One Games to Have on Your Radar in October 2018
Battlefield V
While Activision’s Call of Duty series continues its annual release schedule, EA’s DICE follows 2016’s Battlefield 1 with the latest numbered entry in the franchise, Battlefield V. That doesn’t mean we’re returning back to modern-era warfare, however. This time around, it’s time to explore the somewhat familiar-feeling territory of World War II.
While its multiplayer mode offering a plethora of different game modes for players to choose from, as well as a battle royale mode due to release at some point in 2019, fans will once again receive a single-player campaign. It’ll take on a similar fashion to that of Battlefield 1, retelling unique stories of soldiers from numerous different battles or events that took place around the world.
Arguably the most notable inclusion is Grand Operations, a multiplayer mode that spans multiple maps and tasks you with completing different objectives in order to reign victorious over the four in-game days. It’s similar to Call of Duty: WWII’s War mode, albeit on a slightly grander scale.
Battlefield V is coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC on Nov. 20.
