Respawn added crossplay functionality between PC, Xbox, and PlayStation not too long ago, and the game is now branching out to other platforms.
Apex Legends will be available on Steam later today with cross-progression with Origin. Any PC players that switch to the Steam version will retain all of their progress, cosmetics, and experience.
Apex Legends is also coming to Nintendo Switch, but just a bit later. The release was delayed until 2021, but it will have all of the same functionality as the other platforms when it arrives.
