Detroit Becomes Human

Detroit: Become Human is the upcoming narrative-driven game from Quantic Dream, the developers behind Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Just like those two games, Detroit will allow players to make decisions that control the in-game characters’ actions. Naturally, this will result in different outcomes, as well as varying endings.

As most fans would be aware by now, Detroit is actually based on the company’s short, ‘KARA,’ which was revealed a few years ago. The developer has since expanded upon that concept, and turned it into a full-fledged video game. Quantic Dream has also announced that the game will be made with a brand new engine that features new dynamic lighting, physically-based shaders, and physical cameras.

That sounds all well and good, but what exactly is this game about? Let’s take a closer look at the game’s story, setting, and its characters.
