Nick Valentine Fallout 4, Far Harbor

While you’re free to take whatever companion you want with you on your adventure to Far Harbor, players who have already got their hands on the game are stating that the experience is enriched much more if you take the synth detective, Nick Valentine, along with you. This certainly makes sense, what with the DLC being about another file of his that needs investigating after all, so it’s probably a good idea to find wherever you sent him to.

According to a post on Reddit, Nick Valentine has a lot more dialog options with the new NPCs and in this new area which helps carry the plot of Far Harbor. If you’re really against having the synth by your side, then you’re free to do so, but we won’t be taking that risk.
