Destiny 2: Forsaken gives Guardians a chance to return to the game they know and love with gusto. There’s plenty to see and do already, but if you beat the main game, you’re probably wondering what you should do for the endgame content. Here’s 5 things you can do after beating Destiny 2: Forsaken, to dive into its post game content.
5 Things to Do After Beating Destiny 2: Forsaken (Endgame)
Unlock and Explore The Dreaming City
Without a doubt, the very first thing you want to do when you beat Destiny 2: Forsaken’s campaign is to go straight into working on unlocking The Dreaming City via the post game quest from Petra. While Ikora and Zavala might be satisfied with Uldren’s death, Petra is not, and you have more to do. You can follow our guide for how to get to The Dreaming City it if you need help with that.
If you’re planning on sticking with Destiny 2 for the medium term at least, this is where your $40 is going to get put to work. This is a Dreadnought-like area with lots to see and do. When you get settled in and are able to travel there, go visit Petra and start getting a sense of what she has to offer you. There’s a bunch of bounties both daily, and weekly, which will reward you not only with the usual stuff, but also materials that you’re going to need to for the higher level events such as the Blind Well. Of course, there are also new public events that can be turned heroic, and lost sectors which are much more interesting than they have been thus far in Destiny 2. More on that later.
The Blind Well is a Court of Oryx-like event that takes place in the large palace in The Dreaming City and is another source of equipment upgrades and important materials. You can get the items you need to start that from Petra (Charges of Light). Ideally, you should come with a three person fire team and hope to run into others too while you’re there to make it a lot easier, but you can show up solo and assist another group that is going at it just like in Court of Oryx.
Aside from bounties, the upcoming raid, and the Blind Well, as we’ve touched on there are just lots of secrets to find that the community is still sorting out. For example, the other day a secret cave was discovered with a mysterious cat statue that people can present a gift to get a free legendary. There’s lots of little stuff like that you can get into as well if you like pushing the limits of where you are/aren’t allowed to go
Finally although we’re still a couple of days away, The Dreaming City will “change” on a week to week basis, and that might bring a whole host of new secrets to discover, as well.
