How to Rotate Objects in The Sims 4 on Consoles (PS4 & Xbox One)

Recommended Videos

The Sims 4 has finally made its way to consoles and there’s going to be no shortage of community created homes, I’m sure. You can decorate it how ever which way you want, and you might be questioning how to do some things (especially if you’re used to the mouse and keyboard for playing). Well, here’s how to rotate objects and furniture within the game.

When you’re in Build & Buy Mode and have an item selected, you can rotate it by pressing R1 on PS4 or RB on Xbox One. If you want to rote it going counter-clockwise, hit L1 on PS4 or LB on Xbox One. This is how you’ll be able to perfectly place your furniture all over the place, and even get some diagonal looking designs in your feng shui.

You don’t need to be buying something to rotate it, though. If you previously placed something already, you can pick it back up in Build & Buy mode in order to rotate it.

That’s all there is to rotating objects and furniture in The Sims 4 on PS4 and Xbox One. If you need more help with the game, let us know in the comments and we’ll do our best to answer!
