Fireplace Treasure Photo – Resident Evil 7

Recommended Videos

Pretty early on in Resident Evil 7, you’ll likely find a photo of a fireplace. On the back of this, it’ll say something about a secret stash being in this location if you can find it. Unfortunately, it is pretty vague, meaning it’s difficult to know exactly which fireplace in the house this is. That’s where we’ve come in to help you whittle down the time you spend aimlessly wandering around the Baker estate, and head straight for the fireplace holding the stash.

There are a number of treasure photo locations, each with their own photo to help you find the place. This is the first of the bunch in Resident Evil 7, and can be pretty tricky to solve, especially if you haven’t been paying a ton of attention to the environment.

First things first, if you haven’t gotten it yet, you’ll want to head down to the basement of the main house, where you fought Jack with the chainsaw. In one of the nearby rooms, right before the area where you fight the mold monsters guarding the Dissection Room, you’ll spot a couple of freezers and a shelf next to it. The photo is just on the shelf here. This is also where you get the Scorpion key.

Once you’ve grabbed it, you now want to head back upstairs and to the main room where the Cerberus dog head door and eagle light puzzle was. Head down the secret passage that the puzzle opened up, and keep heading down it until you reach the room with a blue chair. The room also happens to have a fireplace. Go over to it and examine one of the bricks in the top right-hand corner. You’ll remove the brick and find some Steroids which will permanently increase your health in Resident Evil 7.

That’s the first treasure photo done and dusted. For more tips, tricks, and guides for Resident Evil 7, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
