Increasing Persona Capacity in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

When you’re first starting out in Persona 5, you’ll only be able to carry up to six Personas at a time. This means that if you try to recruit anymore Shadows, you’ll have to delete one from your current stock. This can be a little limiting, as you might not have enough space to fuse the more powerful Personas you’re interested in. Thankfully, there is a way to increase your carrying capacity, though this method is strictly tied to the story.

As you level up the Fool Confidant rank with Igor, you’ll be able to carry more and more Personas. The first upgrade comes at rank 3, which allows you to carry up to eight Personas. As you continue progressing through the story, you’ll eventually be able to carry a maximum of 16 Personas, which is 10 more than what you originally started out with. This should give you a bit more space to work with, and you’ll be able to recruit more Shadows without being afraid of running out of space. Remember to fuse your Personas regularly to clear out some space, too.
