PERSONA 5: DIRTY TWO-HORNED BEAST

Persona 5 is filled to the brim with Shadows and that means plenty of opportunities to get them to lend you their power. In Kamoshida’s Palace, you’ll run into the Dirty Two-Horned Beast, which can give you the most trouble when trying to recruit it, so saddle up and get ready for this challenge.

The best spot to look for this peculiar creature is on the first floor on the west side of the building, the surrounding areas near the safe room will have more than one Dirty Two-Horned Beast to fight. These creatures are weak to Electric type attacks which you should have in your party by this time thanks to the Captain Kidd Persona. If there are two of them then you can simply defeat one and use Zio on the other, or use the lightning attack and make use of the extra turn to knock down the other with that same attack. While the second option is easy enough, there is of course a problem in that Ryuji will most likely not attack first and this strategy will cost more SP.  Once any and all creatures are knocked down, a Hold Up will then happen automatically which will give you three options. Go ahead and pick the “Lend me your power” option, which will then prompt some dialog and your character having to answer questions.

A lot of them will not beg for their life so avoid any answers that would cause them to beg, and try avoiding any answer that makes you sound too cocky. If it likes the answer, you will see a positive reaction which lets you know you’re on the right track. Any answer it does not like will cause the Hold Up to end and the battle will continue or they will run away. It only takes two positive reactions before it remembers what it is and gives you the Bicorn mask and access to its Persona.
