Overwatch League Grand Finals Tickets Cost More Than a Bruno Mars, Elton John, or Drake Concert

The Overwatch League Grand Finals are fast approaching, with the two weeks of playoffs currently underway to funnel the six remaining total teams down to just two. The inaugural season’s climax is highly anticipated, with Blizzard announcing a deal this week with both Disney and ESPN to broadcast it live from their channels alongside Twitch.

The Grand Finals are scheduled to be held in the Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in New York City on July 27-28. Tickets originally went on sale back in May, with over 20,000 tickets sold in just two weeks.

According to online ticket marketplace Vivid Seats, the “get-in” price for a ticket to the final day of the Grand Finals is currently priced at $152 USD, overtaking numerous other show prices at the same venue. This price makes the final day of the Overwatch League more expensive than a Bruno Mars, Elton John, Drake, Florence and the Machine, or Nicki Minaj concert at the Barclays Center, as well as several sports events like WWE SummerSlam.

In comparison, the playoff ticket prices for the second week in Burbank, California are currently prices at $55 with Vivid Seats.

If that’s not a price you can swing, make sure to stream it live on the final day to see which team will walk away with a championship title and $1 million USD. As to who the final winner will be, we have a few predictions to which team will come out on top.
