Synchronize Ultimates

Overwatch, Hanzo, ultimate, abilities

Ultimates are pretty powerful abilities on their own. When used correctly they can completely shift the balance of a game in your favor, so imagine the power of two perfectly synchronized Ultimates. Let us give you a quick example of what we mean. Hanzo’s Dragonstrike Ultimate summons a huge spirit dragon that makes its way through the map in a straight line and devours any enemies it comes across. While this is incredibly handy when all of your enemies are bunched together and unaware of it making its way toward them, it’s incredibly easy to avoid if they do spot the giant glowing dragon. In order to make this much more effective, you could potentially synchronize this with Reinhardt’s Earthshatter Ultimate. This knocks down and damages all enemies in front of him, rendering them somewhat unconscious for a little while. With the enemies stunned, Hanzo’s Dragonstrike would now be much more effective.

This is just one example of synchronizing Ultimates, which can be particularly useful when all of the defending team are bunched up around the control point you’re trying to claim. A perfectly executed dual Ultimate could leave the control point defenseless and you with plenty of time to capture it.
