Sprinting – No Man’s Sky

Recommended Videos

No Man’s Sky is all about exploration. You’ll be flying through space, walking through planets, and generally just discovering uncharted (or charted) lands in the universe that Hello Games has set up for us all. Sometimes, this can be a bit of a drag if you’re just on foot, right? Well, luckily the game allows you to sprint and speed up your character. Put some pep in that step!

How to Sprint

Typically, first-person shooters on the PS4 let players sprint by pushing in the left thumbstick. Not No Man’s Sky, though. It decided to be different, so you’re going to have to push and hold down the right thumbstick in order to sprint. On PC, you hold down the shift key. Simply do that and keep it held down and your character will sprint away. Keep in mind that there is a stamina bar, which will appear in the lower right-hand corner while your character runs. Your character won’t be able to run forever, but it’s certainly a nice boost, perfect for exploring or escaping some baddies. Bless this, because walking around is way too slow in this game.
