Nioh – Unlocking Twilight Mode Missions

Recommended Videos

Twilight mode is a special mode for missions that you’ve already cleared in Nioh. For example, after beating the Onryoki boss in the very first proper mission of the game, you’ll find the Twilight version of that same mission on your world map. However, the recommended level for these missions are a little higher than their normal counterparts, which means that you’ll encounter enemies that hit harder and are a lot more aggressive than you’re used to. There’s also the possibility of running into different enemy types in places where there weren’t any foes before. These missions are meant to be a much more challenging spin on missions you’ve completed before, just to keep you on your toes.

However, you also stand a much better chance of acquiring purple gear in these missions. If you’re looking to deck your character out in purple gear and equip him with powerful weapons, consider trying these Twilight missions out. You never know what you’ll pick up. Simply beat the main missions in the game, and go back to the Twilight modes whenever you want.
