How to Flop in NBA 2K18

It’s a sad state of affairs that flopping in the NBA has gotten so prevalent that there actually needs to be a button for it in NBA 2K18, but here we are. We can’t blame 2K, that’s for sure, as they are just trying to make their game as authentic as possible. It’s just a little sad that’s all.

What flopping is for those that are unaware, is when a defending player intentionally falls over dramatically to try and trick the referees into thinking that an offensive player that is driving toward the basket charged through them. When done correctly, you can draw a foul and add to an opposing player’s personal foul count, and the overall team foul count.

To flop double tap O/B/A as the opponent is driving into you. If done correctly (try to time it out as someone is trying to drive/attack the basket), you’ll fall over and the referee will call a offensive foul on the opponent.

That does it for how to flop in NBA 2K18. For more on NBA 2K18, make sure to check our wiki.
