Spyro Reignited Trilogy

Surprisingly, Spyro Reignited Trilogy might very well be the most beautiful game we’ve had the pleasure of playing in November 2018. As you probably already know, this is a full-on remake of the original PS1 classic games, and it looks simply gorgeous.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy rebuilds the original titles from the ground up in a new engine, complete with redone models, textures, and breathtaking lighting effects.

The real highlight of Spyro was how the game always made you feel like you were playing a cartoon, and the remade trilogy enhances that feeling a hundredfold. It might not be a beautiful game in the photorealistic sense, but it’s charming in a timeless, cartoonish kind of way.
