How to Romance Jaal in Mass Effect: Andromeda
Jaal is a member of the Angarian race, a new species introduced in Mass Effect: Andromeda. He’s an excellent squadmate who uses a full tech build that includes a unique ability which lets him cloak teleport into a vicious back-attack. His intriguing persona and devilish good looks make him attractive to all races, so you wouldn’t be blamed for wanting to get into some fooling around with this tall, blue drink of water. Thankfully, the folks at BioWare decided to let players do just that if you happen to be playing as a female Ryder. Unfortunately, there’s no Jaal romance if you’re playing as a male, though there is an Angarian for you out there.
To romance Jaal, you first need to recruit him (of course) which is done by simply visiting Aya for the first time. Continue to talk to him on your ship and complete his quests and you’ll notice a new icon where Hearts are normally found on other characters. It shows two silhouettes holding hands. Pursue this branch every chance you get and you’ll grow closer to this crew member, and after his loyalty mission, you’ll get an email that allows the romance to truly blossom.
