The Smaller Game – Everybody’s Golf
PS Plus Free Games Predictions
Our second prediction focuses on what smaller, more indie-esque game might make the PS Plus list for March 2021, and we choose 2017’s Everybody’s Golf published by Sony itself for a couple reasons.
Firstly, it’s always an easy choice for Sony to pick its free game from its own list of published/developed works. Examples of this are numerous but some more recent ones include Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in April 2020 and Shadow of the Colossus in March 2020.
Secondly, Everybody’s Golf is currently on sale at 25% off until March 4, and games that enter sales frequently (especially those that have been out for 3+ years like this title) are much more likely to become PS Plus games than games at full price.
Finally, Sony often opts to include online co-op games as often as it can on PS Plus. This has been happening more frequently with COVID-19 this last year as well.
Everybody’s Golf allows local co-up with up to four people, but more impressively has online multiplayer functionality with up to 20 people. It would be a great way for big groups of friends to have fun together for free while social distancing.
Sony should announce the offical PS Plus games list in the next week or so. Make sure to check back with Twinfinite to see what you’ll be getting for free.
