Shield-Weaver Outfit – Horizon Zero Dawn
Upgrading Aloy’s outfit in Horizon Zero Dawn will grant you some extra protection in battle. While you can buy most of the outfits in the game from Merchants, there is one that will require you to do a bit of digging, and that’s the Shield-Weaver outfit. This outfit is a piece of ancient technology that completely protects the wearer from damage.
To get the Shield-Weaver outfit, you’ll first need to find the Bunker at Devil’s Thirst. First, fast travel to the Devil’s Thirst Tallneck and then head south west towards the Strider site. Once you hit here, you want to look for a gap between two large rocks. Make your way through here and slowly descend down. You can grab onto the ledge and drop down into the cave below. From here, swim through and you’ll eventually reach the Bunker of Devil’s Thirst. Inside, you’ll need to use Power Cells in order to open the door. We’ve included an image showing the location of the bunker on your map below.
All of the Power Cell locations can be found easily with our helpful guide. Once you’ve got all five, return to the Bunker and at the first door, set them so the red section of the ring is pointing in the following directions: Up, right, down, left, up.
You’ll now be able to gain access to the room with the Shield-Weaver outfit in, but you won’t be able to wear it just yet. You’ll need to restore power to the room first to free the Shield-Weaver outfit from its stand.
With the other three Power Cells, head out the door opposite the one you came in from and turn right. You’ll find another three Power Cell slots that you’ll need to put the cells into and then turn them into the following positions from left to right: Right, left, up, right, left.
When the locks are in these positions, the power should come on and you should now be able to interact with and obtain the Shield-Weaver outfit in Horizon Zero Dawn.
That’s all there is you need to know to get Shield-Weaver outfit in the game. For more tips, tricks, and information on Horizon Zero Dawn, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
