Costumes and Modules – Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone

Recommended Videos

While the rhythm gameplay is dangerously compelling and ridiculously fun, the real draw of the Hatsune Miku games lies in unlocking and collecting outfits for your vocaloids. In Project DIVA Future Tone, you can unlock new costumes and change your characters’ appearances by purchasing modules. However, each module will cost you a certain amount of VP.

In order to earn VP, start off by completing a few songs in the game. For each cleared song, you’ll earn 600 VP and some rank experience. If you manage to do exceptionally well in a song, you’ll have the opportunity to earn even more than that. However, if you fail to clear a song, you’ll only earn 10 VP. After you’ve accumulated enough VP, head to the Customization menu and look for the module that you want. Aside from modules, you can also purchase new hairstyles, accessories, and even characters in the game. The price tag for each module will be indicated next to it, and you can even see a nice preview of it before you drop the cash.
