Which Skills You Should Choose
Items are the various different explosives and gear that you can carry into battle. While many of them are situational, there are a few that are perfect to carry. Remember, many of these items cannot all be equipped at the same time so you will need to make some tough choices as to what to bring into the field. On top of this, a lot of these different tools have an ammo capacity, so you will want to make sure to know when and how to use them. The last thing you want is to be attacked by an armored convoy when you are out of C4 or grenades to throw at them.
- Parachute – The skies of Bolivia are not safe as both enemy choppers and surface to air missiles litter the landscape which can make flying dangerous. In order to survive being shot out of the sky, you will want to obtain the parachute skill, which automatically gives the player this life-saving item even if they aren’t in a plane. Since aerial insertions are great for getting behind enemy lines, having this will allow you to get the drop on the Santa Blanca soldiers.
- C4 – Is there any problem that cannot be solved with the proper use of explosives? C4 is an exceptionally versatile tool that can breach doors, blow up key cartel items, lay waste to vehicles, or just blow up soldiers that have you pinned down. Pick this one up as soon as you can since it could very well save your life down the line.
- Thermal Vision – When you are exploring the vast country of Bolivia, there will be sections of the game that are set in entirely wooded areas. This makes tracking targets very difficult even with night vision on, so Thermal Vision is a great way to stay one step ahead of your foes. Being able to see them from a distance, regardless of how thick the vegetation is will help you plan a route to either killing or avoiding them entirely.
