As we sail past the two year mark of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it’s likely we’ve passed the one third mark in these consoles’ lifetime. Therefore, it’s only reasonable to believe Microsoft and PlayStation will introduce a price drop for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the coming year. Why now? After a good couple of years of selling the consoles like hotcakes, Microsoft and Sony will be searching for ways to reduce costs and continue sales past their initial release years.
