10 Games That Smashed 1 Million Sales in 2018

The Dragon Ball series is no stranger to fighting games, with titles such as the Xenoverse series under its belt. FighterZ, on the other hand, was Bandai Namco’s take on creating a traditional 2.5D fighting game with unique elements taken from the series. FighterZ offered plenty of fast fights, fan-favorite characters, and plenty of references to both the manga and anime.

The game has been praised for its stunning visuals and fluid gameplay, to the point that it’s become Evo’s highest watched game on Twitch. Its success is unparalleled, becoming the fastest-selling Dragon Ball game, with both shipments and digital sales hitting the 2 million mark a week after its launch. Moreover, Dragon Ball FighterZ surpassed the 2.5 million sales mark back in May, having only launched in January of this year. Bandai Namco continues to support FighterZ with more content through DLC, and it’s even getting ported to the Nintendo Switch later this month. We loved our time with the game, and you can check out our full review here.
