Everything You Need to Know About Fortnite’s Survive the Storm Update

There’s a reason we are encouraging Fortnite players to become more well-rounded commanders. Survive the Storm will introduce more powerful storms called Mutant Storms that will be available in a limited time game mode. While the details on just how difficult these storms will be are still rather vague, an official announcement explained that enraged husks would be included in these new storms. It isn’t clear what exactly will make an enraged husk different from a normal one but we have a few ideas. These enraged monsters will likely receive a damage boost that can help them tear through your fort more quickly. We also wouldn’t be surprised to see enraged husks become far more aggressive than others. Imagine a wave of husks heading for your fort but a few enraged husks are far more focused on prioritizing you instead.

This also begs the question—so just how strong will the big guys be in the new Survive the Storm game mode.
