What’s New in Fortnite Season 4? Everything You Need to Know

New Battle Pass Theme & Challenges

Each season of Fortnite has a specific theme that many of its cosmetics are based around, and Season 4 has a superhero theme. Where Season 3’s space theme ended with a meteor crash and the aforementioned changes to the map, Season 4’s superhero theme seems to be currently just related to the cosmetics you unlock in the Battle Pass.

It’s worth noting at this point, however, that Season 3’s comet/ meteor business only really came into effect midway through the season, so if Season 4 is to have a similar event, we just might not know anything about it yet.

Of course, with a new Battle Pass comes new weekly challenge lists. While these seem to be working in the same way as previous seasons, there are some new challenge lists in the form of Carbide and Blockbuster. By completing the challenges in these, players can earn even more cosmetics, though they won’t earn Battle Stars.
