Bears – The Flame in the Flood

Recommended Videos

The Flame in the Flood tasks you with surviving some crazy wildlife in your time adventuring through the wilderness. As you progress through the game, you’ll encounter terrifying bears that protect their dens, and they’re not as easy to take down as boars or rabbits!

You’ll find bears alone in a cavernous structure, just chilling there. If you get too close, it’ll pounce and then never stop chasing you down, so make sure you just mind your own business from a distance. If you do want to fight, though, here’s what you should have to do it: a bow, arrows, and spear spring traps. If you’re just going to stick to traps, you’ll need four of them. But you can combo the trap and bow to take it down potentially faster than you would have. Don’t bother with tainted meat, that only works with wolves.

In no time, you’ll have taken down that great beast! It’s the toughest enemy in the game, so be careful. It will drop you bear hide and two raw meats for your efforts.
