Armiger Unleashed
Reasons Why Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition Is Worth the Upgrade
As Noctis goes about his adventure across Eos in order to save the world from encroaching darkness, he’ll slowly but surely start building an armory of 13 different Royal Arms scattered throughout the world. In the standard version, these were powerful weapons, sure, but there was no incentive for collecting them all (aside from the general sense of satisfaction).
The Royal Edition changes this, adding in the new Armiger Unleashed feature which provides “a more action-oriented mode of the Armiger” for players to utilize in battle. Not only will it be a badass addition to your arsenal of attacks in Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition, you’ll also need to head off on a quest to find the accessory that grants you this new power. And who doesn’t want more reasons to head out into the unknown of Eos?
Of course, it should go without mentioning at this point that, just like many other ‘Game of the Year’ editions or ‘Complete’ editions so to speak, the Royal Edition does contain all of the DLC, Season Pass content, and general updates that hit the base game following its launch.
