Final Fantasy XV: Episode Prompto Release Date

With Final Fantasy XV’s first character DLC finally out, Episode Gladiolus, fans are no doubt wondering when they can expect the next add-on. Luckily, we do have at least a time frame for the next piece of character DLC.

Episode Prompto is set to release sometime in June,2017, although we don’t have an exact date. Similarly to Episode Gladio, Prompto’s DLC will put players into the characters shoes in a brand new story that fits into the main campaign of Final Fantasy XV. We know that Episode Prompto takes place later in the game, when Prompto is separated from Noctis and the rest of the crew in Niflheim. For anyone that’s finished Final Fantasy XV, there’s bound to be some interesting character moments in store for the good-natured party member.

Beyond that, we don’t know a lot of details about Episode Promtpo. It remains to be seen what kind of gameplay will be in store, although it’s sure to be unique to the character, similarly to the action-oriented combat of Episode Gladio. We have seen a short teaser trailer for the DLC, however, that sets an emotional tone. You can see it below.
