How to Heal – Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers

Recommended Videos

If you want to survive in combat longer than a few rounds, it will be imperative that you give your Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers’ units some medical attention. There are two main ways to heal your units, each of which should be considered before every mission you decide to partake in. These are broken up between your items and Skill Board for specific heroes, as both offer different ways to heal units.

The first way you can heal units is through items, each of which come in a variety of styles, strengths, and rarities. Your base three healing items are called Meat Buns and are either small, medium, or large. A small Meat Bun will only restore 20% of your health, while the largest will heal up to 40% of a unit’s health. Other items such as the Dim Sum and Large Dim Sum will have better healing capabilities but are harder to obtain. Finally, the Mystic Peach will heal a unit completely, however, this item is far harder to obtain in Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers.

It’s also important to note that you can only hold up to three different items at any time, so make sure to keep at least one large Meat Bun per unit. Once you begin to play higher level missions, change this to a Large Dim Sum as you’ll be taking more damage from enemy officers. We recommend at least two healing items for tank units such as Zhang Fei who need to get very close to maximize their damage output.

However, the other method for healing units is a passive bonus you receive at the start of each turn via the Skill Board tree. You are able to pick from a variety of different skills that can give your heroes a passive or active bonus in Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers. When looking at the Skill Board, the closer the skill is to the center the weaker it will be, so always branch out to obtain better healing spells. We recommend running at least one passive healing spell per unit to offer more sustainability on the battlefield from minor wounds. The Health Fountain skill is by far the best at this, especially once you unlock the upgraded version called Recovery Duo.

Healing your units is critical to success in Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers, so always have some means of rescuing an officer if they sustain damage. The last thing you want is to be low on health right when your foes reinforce their positions.
