Dragon Ball XenoVerse Guide: How to Choose The Best Skills

I'll show you the results of my training!

Genocide Shell

Genocide Shell is an interesting attack. It’s a Ki Blast but it doesn’t really go anywhere. If you try and fire this attack at an enemy more than a couple of steps away you will instead find four purple orbs that just sit in a row in front of you. It may not seem like much but it actually proves to be quite useful against stronger opponents, especially those you face in the later sagas of Dragon Ball XenoVerse.

You see, these floating orbs are actually pretty potent masses of Ki energy. If an enemy is silly enough to touch one (or all of them) they will be treated to a rather nasty shock and some knock back action. This is very effective against enemies such as Broly. Even the most powerful fighters in the game exhibit a bit of apprehension once you lay out Genocide Shell. This provides an opportunity to set up an attack that has a larger than normal charge time such as the Recoome Eraser Gun.

In a game that is all about speed and power, being able to scare some enemies back to set up powerful combos is invaluable. You can grab this pretty little skill by completing Parallel Quest No. 49 Saiyan Revolt.
