How to Use Chroma and Remove It
Now that you have Chroma, you might be wondering how do you even use it. It’s pretty simple actually. When you inspect any compatible gear, there will be a specific node (like your perk nodes) that will appear. The color of the node will tell you which types can be used on that gear. Simply follow through and apply it from that node.
Say hypothetically, though, you hate the way your equipment looks now and want to get rid of it (or just change colors). Have no fear, as you can revert your equipment back to its old looks. Simply look for the Deactiviate Chroma perk node while inspecting. There are a couple of catches to this though. It costs 100 Glimmer (OK no big deal for most people) but also, you will lose the Chroma that you originally applied forever. So be extra careful before adding anything especially because you can’t preview what it would look like.
Finally, also know that if you dismantle or infuse equipment with Chroma applied, it will be lost forever.
