How to Get the Wardcliff Coil in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

Remember that cool looking honey-comb rocket launcher that was teased at the end of Destiny 1’s life? It was called the Dubious Volley and fans were assuming that it would drop within Rise of Iron and be the next Gjallarhorn. Well that weapon has received a name change and is now found in Destiny 2. It is called the Wardcliff Coil and is one seriously amazing rocket launcher. Just check out its perks:

Mad Scientist – This weapon fires a volley of rockets.

Volatile Launch- This weapon is optimized for an especially explosive payload. Increased blast radius, but slower handling and projectile speed.

Extended Mag – Larger mag but slower reload.

Mechanized Autoloader – Reloads automatically when you pick up power ammo.

Composite Stock –  Increases stability and handling speed.

You’ll be able to light up entire areas with huge rocket explosions. Plus, the fact that it reloads by simply running over Power Ammo will make it a force to be reckoned with in all modes. Of course, hearing what it can do is cool and all, but you actually want to get the Wardcliff Coil in Destiny 2.

Obtaining this weapon is completely random. You can get it from an exotic engram (which can drop from most activities). Rewards from activity completion will sometimes provide this weapon outright. Also, Xur may have it in his possession from time to time, so always be on the lookout for him if you really want the Wardcliff Coil.
