A New Level Cap, New Activities, and More Exotics Will Be Introduced
Destiny 2’s new expansion will be providing a great incentive for those fans who feel like they’ve already combed through the game thoroughly, as Curse of Osiris will rise players’ level caps to 25 as opposed to letting it remain at 20 and rise the maximum power level to 330, which is a welcome step up from 305. Bungie has also revealed that new missions, new strikes, new free roam activities, and new raid content are set to appear as well, though exact details weren’t provided. Of note is that a new raid hasn’t been confirmed, though it’s anyone’s guess as to what “new raid content” could imply.
It appears as though exotic weapons from the original Destiny will return too, according to an analysis done by YouTuber Mesa Sean. Telesto, Jade Rabbit, Vex Mythoclast, and the exotic hand cannon are among the arsenal that are reportedly coming back, as evidence from yesterday’s trailer suggests their appearance in the DLC. This wouldn’t be too out of the ordinary, as Bungie did bring back some exotics from the original Destiny to Destiny 2, though the news should be taken as a grain of salt, as the developer has yet to officially confirm anything.
Fans can definitely expect much more information about the expansion to come in the following weeks. Until then, they can only speculate what Bungie may have in store for the Vex-infested future.
