Crow Quills – Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel

The Crow Quills may be one of the coolest weapons in all of Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel. This Dexterity focused weapon is a combination of a rapier, Crow Talons, and throwing knives. Basically, this weapon allows you to constantly mix up your fighting styles and offers a pretty fluid move set for the PvP enthusiast. Thankfully, it’s also pretty easy to obtain compared to the other weapons.

From the Corvian Settlement bonfire, go across the bridge and hang an immediate left. There will be a few bird monsters waiting for you, but they are relatively easy to dispatch. Head towards the narrow cliff hugging the wall and run along it until you reach the top.

There will be several more monsters waiting for you, but you shouldn’t have any trouble dispatching of them. Just make sure they don’t knock you off the cliff otherwise you are going to lose a lot of health. Proceed left by jumping across the small gap, grab the item in the hole and head up towards the ramparts.

Inside and to your right will be another Corvian who spits poison, so get behind him and stab him in the back. Once he’s dead, smash all the crates and barrels and look out over the pit. Below, you will see a large rock with an item on it, you are going to need to jump to that if you want the Crow Quills. Equip the Silvercat Ring if you have it and make a running leap towards this small platform. If you land it, grab your prize and then test it out on all those helpless Corvians below.
