Multiplayer

CD Projekt Red has been pretty clear that Cyberpunk 2077 will be a single-player experience, so it is no surprise that the gameplay demo focused on that element. Nonetheless, it has also been stated that the developers currently have multiplayer in R&D.

In an interview with Eurogamer earlier this year, CD Projekt Red quest designer Patrick Mills stated that there will be “Nothing at launch,” but that the studio was in the research and development stages of multiplayer as a company, specifically in relation to Cyberpunk 2077.

While it obviously isn’t the company’s forte, a game like Cyberpunk 2077 is begging for multiplayer, especially on the co-op side of things.
