4 Questions We Still Have After that Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Reveal

Ever since it was announced in 2012, fans have been dying to know every detail physically possible surrounding CD Projekt Red’s upcoming first-person shooter RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. And while they may have had to wait six years to see it, the game didn’t skimp on the details earlier this week during an official 48-minute gameplay walkthrough.

The almost hour-long demo answered a myriad of questions. How does the game look? How does it play? How does it feel? How alive was Night City? Those were just a few of those important questions answered. But like any game developer, CD Projekt Red isn’t going to give out all the details this far out from launch. Here are a few of the lingering questions we still have that the Cyberpunk 2077 livestream didn’t answer.

Game Length

The Witcher 3 is a huge game. According to Howlongtobeat.com, a website devoted to detailing stats surrounding video game length, it took players an average of 50 hours to beat the game. Players who took their time, explored, and did side quests at a leisurely pace registered an average of approximately 80 hours. Even speedrunners clocked in at around 31 hours. So just how long will CD Projekt Red’s follow up title be?

If the gameplay demo was any indication, it looks like Cyberpunk 2077 will take just as many hours to beat, if not longer. Multiple side quests, exploration options, and time spent earning Street Cred will definitely milk away hours. That isn’t even taking into account the replay options, as the game boasts a multitude of different paths, story options, and background influences that will change how the plot unravels. Still, no exact number has been presented.
