CoD WW2 emphasizes that certain Divisions specialize in particular weapon types, leaving an impression that you should strictly use weapons that each Division specializes in, such as SMGs for Airborne and Shotguns for Expeditionary. While you won’t maximize the abilities in each Division if you don’t equip the weapon best suited for it, you can still take advantage of each Division’s abilities. For example, you can have a fast-moving Airborne Division character who wields a semi-automatic rifle that’s equipped with a silencer. If you want, you can even have a sniper-wielding Expeditionary soldier who can throw lethal grenades as well as smoke grenades.
