Master Aerial Combat
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare features more than a few battle sequences where you’ll have to get into your starship and fight other enemy ships in space. While your targets may seem hard to hit at first, don’t forget that you can hold down the L2 button to initiate a target lock and make it easier for you to track your shots. Of course, don’t forget to keep an eye on the overheat meter in the bottom right corner of your screen. If your weapon does overheat, tap the triangle button to swap over to your cannons and continue firing.
Every now and then, you’ll also have to shoot down missiles heading your way. The best way to deal with this is by launching flares while you’re still locked on. This can be done with a tap of the L1 button, and your flares will track the missiles you’re locked on to. The flares have a short cooldown timer, so use them wisely.
