Black Ops III: How to Get Gold and Diamond Gun Camo

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Gold and Diamond gun camo has always been the end game for hardcore completionists in Call of Duty’s competitive multiplayer. There’s a certain aura about that seems to just say: “I’m just better than you.” In Call of Duty: Black Ops III, you can once again obtain those classic and hard to get Gold and Diamond camouflage for your weapons… if you’re willing to put the time in and practice your crack shot.

Like in previous Call of Duty games before it, camo is generally unlocked by getting head shots with a particular weapon. For example, you’ll unlock your first camo, Jungle Tech, after getting five head shots with your weapon of choice. Pretty standard fare so far.

In order to get Gold and Diamond camoflauage, though, you’re going to need to go above and beyond the *ahem* Call of Duty. It starts by getting at first the “Policia” camo at 100 headshots. From there, you’ll have to unlock each and every single gun camo after that in order to then unlock Gold. There are fifteen other camos besides Gold and Diamond. Hopefully, your head shot game is on point.

What’s even more brutal is Diamond. Diamond camo requires you to get every single camo (aka Gold level) for every single weapon of that weapon type. Meaning if you want Diamond on your Assault Rifles, you first need to get the right amount of head shots for every single Assault Rifle in Black Ops III. Brutal.

There are DEFINITELY plenty of hardcore Black Ops III fans out there that will surely be able to handle this challenge. But for casual fans like myself, good luck, it’s going to be a rough one. But then again, that Gold and Diamond camo probably just isn’t meant for us.

Are you going to even bother trying to get Gold and Diamond camoflauge in Black Ops III? Are you a savage and are already half way there? Let us know in the comments!
