The highly anticipated sequel to the original multiplayer FPS Destiny finally released this month, and both past and new fans of the series have tons of new content to work through alone or together in a group.

As Guardians, it’s up to you to defeat the emperor Dominus Ghaul and take back the Last City from his Red Legion army. In Desitiny activities are either PvE or PvP, and there are also options for six-player raids and three player “strike” missions as well. The PvP activities are all four versus four teams, which is a change from the original 2014 Destiny that also had two versus two, three versus three, and six versus six options.

So whether you are just exploring the expansive worlds and doing normal story mission with your buddies, teaming up for strikes and raids, or going head-to-head in deathmatch PvE modes, Destiny 2 offers numerous ways to play online with friends. Destiny 2 released for Xbox One and PS4 on Sept. 6, and is coming to PC later this month on Oct. 24.
